It was a seesaw battle in DeKalb on Saturday, 10/13/18. NIU led 7-0 early in the match. Then it was UIC up 24-7. NIU fought back to take a 28-24 lead, but UIC came back again to take a 36-28 lead in the second half. NIU scored a try in injury time at the end, but Tom Guerin’s fifth conversion left NIU 1 point down at the final whistle, 36-35.
