Maoris travelled south to play the Peoria Piggies. The game started out one-sided as the Maoris put up 48 points to the Piggies 7. During the second half, the Piggies got the ball out to their backs and started moving the ball very efficiently leading to multiple long-run tries. Maoris were able to regain their footing and close out the game with the victory.
