NIU hosted ISU in DeKalb on Saturday, September 22. Although they have improved greatly since their first match in the Great Midwest Rugby Conference two weeks ago, NIU lost to a strong ISU club by a score of 47-5. NIU is expecting further improvement this week in preparation for their match against DePaul next Saturday, September 29 at 1:00 p.m. in DeKalb.
